2 abandoned vessels sinking in Tacoma
The state Ecology Department says two abandoned vessels that are chained together sank Friday morning in Tacoma on the Hylebos Waterway.

TACOMA, Wash. —
The state Ecology Department says two abandoned vessels that are chained together sank Friday morning in Tacoma on the Hylebos Waterway.
The department, Coast Guard and Tacoma Fire Department have responded to the Mason Marina.
Fuel was removed nearly a year ago from the Helena Star and Golden West, but an oil containment boom has been deployed to contain any possible pollution.
