BOISE, Idaho —

Law enforcement officers and family members are searching for a 17-year-old Boise boy who went missing over the weekend.

The family of Hunter Young reported him missing on Saturday when he failed to show up for a hunting trip in Emmett that morning.

Young's cellphone was found in Connell, Wash., Saturday afternoon. The Idaho Statesman reports ( http://bit.ly/Wdw2Y5) Young's father spotted his son in video captured in a Colwell convenience store that morning. A search of the boy's phone showed a map to Priest Lake in North Idaho.

Krista Young says her son does not know anyone in Connell or Priest Lake.

Young is 6 feet tall, weighs 170 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes. He is driving a 2002 red Pontiac Sunfire with Idaho plates.
