2 teens wounded in Yakima gang shooting

Police believe a shooting that wounded two teens on a Yakima sidewalk Tuesday is gang-related.

YAKIMA, Wash. —

Police believe a shooting that wounded two teens on a Yakima sidewalk Tuesday is gang-related.

Capt. Rod Light says they apparently were shot from behind with a large-caliber handgun.

The Yakima Herald-Republic reports (http://bit.ly/W6PDpL) a 15-year-old was hit in the head and a 17-year-old was hit in the back.

The shooting took place around 11 a.m. at an intersection three blocks from the police station.
