WA rescuers reach injured skier
Officials say a rescue crew has reached an injured backcountry skier in the Chair Peak area near Snoqualmie Pass.

Officials say a rescue crew has reached an injured backcountry skier in the Chair Peak area near Snoqualmie Pass.
KOMO-TV reports that gusty winds prevented a King County helicopter from rescuing the man so a rescue team had to hike in.
King County Search and Rescue's Glen Wallace says two men in their 30s called for help Tuesday evening after one of them hurt his ankle and wrist.
Wallace said the men were at the 4,800-foot level.
