The Bonneville Power Administration plans to replace 28 miles of a high-voltage line from Grand Coulee Dam to Creston in Lincoln County.

The line was built in 1941 and wooden poles and aging equipment need to be replaced.

BPA is taking public comment on plans that include building temporary access roads.

KPQ reports ( http://bit.ly/XqEnde) public meetings will be held Wednesday at the Coulee Dam Town Hall and Thursday at the Wilbur Community Center.

Construction could begin in the summer of 2015.
