The man arrested this week in a fatal Bellevue bar shooting has already been charged with second-degree murder and is held on $5 million bail.
The King County prosecutor's office said Thursday that 19-year-old Ja'Mari Alexander Jones will likely be arraigned in 10 days. Bellevue police said Jones and a 20-year-old woman were stopped Wednesday night in Lakewood in a stolen car.
He's accused of killing DeShawn Milliken and wounding another man at Munchbar in Bellevue Square Mall on Christmas Eve as hundreds of people, including some Seahawks players, celebrated a football victory.
The Seattle Times reports that Bellevue Square owner Kemper Development Co. and the club operator, Las Vegas-based Munchgroup, have agreed to not reopen the restaurant and bar. Munchbar officials did not respond to an email seeking comment.
In 2009 Jones was convicted of manslaughter as a juvenile in the beating death of a Seattle street performer known as Tuba Man.
If convicted of murder he would face a sentence of 20 to 28 years in prison.
