The Washington State Patrol says a fire in the trunk of a State Patrol car prompted a two-hour closure of both directions of Interstate 90 west of Ellensburg.
Trooper Darren Wright tells the Yakima Herald-Republic that no one was injured in the Thursday afternoon fire.
Wright says there was concern that ammunition stored in the trunk might be a hazard.
