Workers have pulled out a 31-foot boat that sank next to a dock at the marina at the Port of Port Townsend.
State Ecology Department spokeswoman Linda Kent says a quick response by the port staff also contained a diesel spill.
The vessel had about 180 gallons of the fuel on board. Up to 50 gallons was collected in a spill boom and absorbent materials.
