Police say a Kennewick bakery employee who reported she had been robbed is actually the thief.

The employee of a Cinnabon store said a man with a gun assaulted her in a hallway Friday, tied her hands with zip ties and took off with her bank deposit bag.

KNDO reports (http://bit.ly/12XRQJP) investigators determined the employee took the money herself and made up the story about the robbery.
