VANCOUVER, Wash. —

Vancouver police say two kayakers associated with a body found in Columbia River are missing.

The Oregonian ( http://is.gd/RqEuBq) reports a vehicle owned by one of the people was found in Oregon at a place where people frequently launch kayaks. Police also said a yellow kayak owned by one of the people is not at their home.

On Friday, the body of a woman wearing outdoor clothing and a flotation device was found near the Interstate 205 bridge.

Fire Department Capt. Scott Willis says the body was spotted by a state Fish and Wildlife crew on a river patrol. The woman had been dead for about 48 hours.

After searching the area, authorities found a kayak on the eastern tip of Government Island. The kayak appeared to have had two passengers.

None of the three people involved have been identified and police are continuing to investigate.
