58-year term for Yakima home invasion killing

A 26-year-old man was sentenced Thursday in Yakima to more than 58 years in prison for a fatal shooting during a home invasion.

YAKIMA, Wash. —

A 26-year-old man was sentenced Thursday in Yakima to more than 58 years in prison for a fatal shooting during a home invasion.

Terrek Tremaine Corbin was convicted of murder, burglary and assault for the October 2010 attack that killed 45-year-old Mark Wallace.

The Yakima Herald-Republic reports (http://bit.ly/W8QUvN) each count carried a firearms enhancement. With time off for good behavior Corbin will be eligible for parole when he is about 75 years old.
