EVERETT, Wash. —

A school in Everett is closed Wednesday because of a fire that was apparently set outside the building.

ACES High School has about 200 students. It has an Everett address but is part of the Mukilteo School District.

Spokesman Andy Muntz says classes are canceled because of smoke damage.

Wooden pallets in back of the building were found burning around midnight. An arson investigation is under way.
