TACOMA, Wash. —

The Pierce County medical examiner's office says two men killed Thursday at a home near Puyallup both died of multiple gunshot wounds to the head.

They have been identified as Roy Piercy of Roy and Frederick Adamkiewicz of Tacoma, both 30.

The News Tribune reports (http://is.gd/FZJ4vR) the men were apparently trying to steal marijuana from an illegal grow operation when they were killed in a shootout with the homeowner, who was not injured.
