A judge in Seattle has found probable cause to hold a 30-year-old Beaverton, Ore., man arrested after a weekend bank robbery.
Police say a man robbed a Wells Fargo Bank branch in north Seattle on Saturday, wearing what appeared to be an explosive device strapped to his body. He led officers on a chase north into Snohomish County, where he crashed a car near the Edmonds ferry dock. The man was arrested after a brief standoff.
Jeffrey Trask was being held at a King County Jail on $750,000 bail. He was arrested for investigation of first- and second-degree robbery, first-degree kidnapping and attempting to elude a police vehicle.
King County prosecutors have until Wednesday to file charges.
