SEATTLE —

Forecasters say snow falling in the Cascades will total 1 to 2 feet by Friday morning.

Drivers can expect winter driving conditions in the mountain passes.

The National Weather Service also forecasts 12 to 18 inches of snow in the mountains of Eastern Washington and 1 to 3 inches of in the valleys in the eastern third of the state.
