BURLINGTON, Vt. —

Federal prosecutors and Vermont law enforcement officials plan to offer more information about the links between an Alaskan murder suspect and the death of a husband and wife from Essex.

The information comes a day after 34-year-old Israel Keyes killed himself in an Anchorage jail.

Keyes has been held on charges he killed an 18-year-old Alaskan barista last February. While behind bars he told investigators he killed Bill and Lorraine Currier in June 2011. He also claimed to have killed at least five other people, four in Washington state and one in New York.

The bodies of the Curriers have never been found, but Vermont investigators say they found evidence to support the claims by Keyes that he killed them.
