The Thurston County coroner's office says a transient 17-year-old whose charred remains were found last month at an Olympia, Wash., homeless camp has been identified as being from Aloha, Ore.

Coroner Gary Warnock told The Olympian on Wednesday ( http://is.gd/9l4T2U) that Forest Bailey died of homicidal violence. He was identified through dental records.

His remains were found Oct. 30.

The newspaper says fellow transient Christopher Harris is charged with second-degree murder in Bailey's death. Harris was being held Wednesday at the Thurston County Jail with bail set at $750,000. Two other transients charged with rendering criminal assistance are accused of helping Harris dispose of the body.
