YAKIMA, Wash. —

Yakima County Prosecutor Jim Hagerty says he won't automatically drop all marijuana possession cases as some other counties have done.

Hagerty told KIMA (http://is.gd/F5f381) he's reviewing 119 cases and about a quarter of them probably will be dismissed because they involve small amounts of the drug.

Prosecutors in King, Pierce, Clark and Spokane counties have said they will no longer prosecute adults for possessing less than an ounce of marijuana because voters approved Initiative 502, the marijuana legalization law that takes effect Dec. 6.
