BELLINGHAM, Wash. —

Another election victory for President Barack Obama. Another 10,000 newspapers noting the event for Thomas Baldwin.

The resident of tiny Birch Bay, Wash., bought 10,000 copies of The Bellingham Herald's election edition when Obama was first elected president in 2008. Now Baldwin has put in another order for 10,000 Herald copies recapping Tuesday's election. He paid a discounted rate of 25 cents each - $2,500 in all - and the newspaper had to order an extra press run.

The 71-year-old Baldwin tells The Herald ( http://is.gd/4YLCNg) "it's an important event in history" and an inspiration for young people that "they can reach out and grab any dream." He's still got the 2008 papers safely tucked away and thinks he might sell the two editions as a package, perhaps online.

Baldwin concedes that his wife "thinks I'm nuts."

He's not worried, saying that "at the very least, I could probably heat my home pretty cheap."
