Alaska ferry worker injured at Wash. dock
Port officials in Bellingham, Wash., say a female worker with the Alaska Marine Highway ferry system has been injured while helping load a ferry at the Bellingham dock.

Port officials in Bellingham, Wash., say a female worker with the Alaska Marine Highway ferry system has been injured while helping load a ferry at the Bellingham dock.
The Bellingham Herald says witnesses report that the unidentified worker was injured Friday afternoon in an accident involving a passenger ramp that was being lowered into place on the ferry Columbia.
She was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital with multiple injuries. Her condition was not immediately available.
Port officials say the ferry suffered some minor damage. Its departure was delayed.
