Police are investigating whether the death of a man in a crash is related to the death of a woman in her 20s whose body was found in a nearby apartment in Mill Creek.

Officers responding to a domestic violence call shortly after midnight found the woman's body alone in the apartment. A vehicle had left the scene at a high rate of speed.

A short time later, Snohomish County sheriff's deputies responded to a crash in which a car hit a parked semi-truck. A 29-year-old Mill Creek man died at the scene.
