SPOKANE, Wash. —

A suitcase strapped to a bridge caused a bomb scare near Gonzaga University in Spokane.

A police bomb squad investigated Monday afternoon and found the bag contained only clothes and personal items.

A homeless man told KREM (http://is.gd/tUNFbU) he left his bag on the Kardong Bridge to go use a computer.
