Spokane police say man shot multiple times

Police in Spokane say a man was shot multiple times Thursday night in his apartment and the gunman fled.

SPOKANE, Wash. —

Police in Spokane say a man was shot multiple times Thursday night in his apartment and the gunman fled.

KHQ-TV reports ( http://is.gd/PtGVH4) that the unidentified victim - a man in his 50s - has been hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

The shooting happened just after 9 p.m.

Officers say the gunman wore a white hockey mask.

Police set up a perimeter and brought in a K9 unit to search for the suspect.
