SPOKANE, Wash. —

Deputies and federal agents raided five homes in Spokane Thursday as part of an investigation into an identity theft ring.

Deputy Craig Chamberlin says the ring may have taken more than $100,000 from as many as 300 victims by opening accounts in other people's names.

KXLY reports ( http://is.gd/Oqo2p7) a 24-year-old man is in custody, facing charges of forgery, theft and money laundering.
