The Vancouver City Council voted Monday to limit personal fireworks use in the city to one day, the Fourth of July, starting in 2014.
Currently, fireworks can be discharged for four days, July 1-4.
The Columbian reports ( http://is.gd/G5NKUT) the new ordinance will put the city at odds with unincorporated Clark County, where fireworks can be discharged from June 28 to July 4.
