Kelso woman killed on way home from job

The Cowlitz County coroner says a Kelso woman was struck and killed by a car as she was coming home from her regular run.

LONGVIEW, Wash. —

The Cowlitz County coroner says a Kelso woman was struck and killed by a car as she was coming home from her regular run.

Coroner Tim Davidson told The Daily News ( http://is.gd/ZXYci1) 56-year-old Julia M. Smith died Thursday morning not far from her home.

The Cowlitz County sheriff's office said the driver was interviewed and released while the investigation continues.
