OCEAN SHORES, Wash. —

A 22-foot cabin cruiser had engine trouble and drifted into the surf Monday afternoon at Ocean Shores.

Police say an officer monitoring the situation saw the boat roll over and throw four people into the water.

The officer helped a 64-year-old man to shore and three other passengers made it to shore on their own.
