Hiker airlifted after falling at Ludlow Falls
Authorities say a 67-year-old New Mexico woman was airlifted to a hospital after falling 15 feet down an embankment at Ludlow Falls.

Authorities say a 67-year-old New Mexico woman was airlifted to a hospital after falling 15 feet down an embankment at Ludlow Falls.
The Peninsula Daily News reports (http://bit.ly/OjhZcN) that the woman was treated for a possible closed head injury and taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Port Ludlow Fire and Rescue officials Chief Brad Martin says the woman was hiking with her son and daughter when she lost her footing at about 11 a.m.
He says the woman lost consciousness after the fall. But regained consciousness during the rescue.
The woman's identity was not released.
