CHEHALIS, Wash. —

The Lewis County sheriff's office is looking for a couple who reported they were injured on a hike in the Goat Rocks Wilderness south of Packwood.

A man used a satellite phone Tuesday to say his wife had cut her leg and he had a bruised hip.

Deputies told them to stay put and wait for rescuers.

The sheriff's office says a ground team is on its way and a plane also may be used to search for them Wednesday because their exact location is uncertain.
