A woman in her 60s reportedly has been found dead in a pond in the east Seattle suburb of Sammamish.

KIRO-TV reports that police say the death appears to be an accident.

They say the unidentified woman's family members went looking for her when she didn't return home after a walk Wednesday.

KIRO says it appears the woman may have been sitting on the bank of the pond and slipped into the water.

Additional details were not immediately available.
