SPOKANE, Wash. —

A pickup truck with a camper on the back ran off the T.J. Meenach Bridge Monday in Spokane and crashed on the Centennial Trail below.

Authorities say the camper flew off the truck and rolled several hundred feet down an embankment, nearly landing in the Spokane River.

A woman who was riding inside the camper was ejected. KREM reports (http://is.gd/gY8oXS) fire department rescuers pulled her up the hillside on a stretcher. She was taken to a hospital in serious condition. The driver suffered minor injuries.
