The Coast Guard is searching for a crewman who fell overboard from the Queen of the West sternwheeler while the boat was moored to a dock in the Columbia River at Rainier.

The Coast Guard is searching for a crewman who fell overboard from the Queen of the West sternwheeler while the boat was moored to a dock in the Columbia River at Rainier.
Witnesses saw the man surface once off the stern before losing sight of him.
The Coast Guard responded early Tuesday with a boat from Portland and a helicopter from Astoria.
The Queen of the West runs cruises on the Columbia River.
