MISSOULA, Mont. —

Officials in western Montana have released the names of two people killed in a head-on crash on Interstate 90 over the weekend.

Missoula County officials allege 33-year-old Daniel Martin of Missoula was drunk and driving a stolen pickup truck westbound in the eastbound lanes at 4:30 a.m. Sunday when the truck struck a car near Clinton.

Sheriff's Detective Jason Johnson says Martin and 8-year-old Jacob Gamble of Seattle died in the crash.

The boy's father suffered serious injuries and was flown to a Seattle hospital for treatment.

Jacob's mother and 5-year-old brother were hospitalized in stable condition in Missoula. The family was traveling to Montana for a vacation.
