Gubernatorial debate set for WSU Vancouver campus

Washington State University Vancouver says it will host an Aug. 29 gubernatorial debate between candidates Jay Inslee and Rob McKenna.

VANCOUVER, Wash. —

Washington State University Vancouver says it will host an Aug. 29 gubernatorial debate between candidates Jay Inslee and Rob McKenna.

The Columbian ( http://is.gd/mEUc9Q) reports the 8 p.m. debate at the WSU Vancouver auditorium will be broadcast live on KATU-TV.

The auditorium can seat fewer than 200 people. Tickets are free and will be distributed by the Vancouver Chamber of Commerce. Forty tickets will be available to the public starting Aug. 16. Details on how to get them will be available Aug. 13.

TVW will rebroadcast the debate statewide.
