A Seattle Fire Department spokesman says medics have treated two men in their 20s who either jumped or fell from an Interstate 5 overpass into blackberry bushes below.
Spokesman Kyle Moore said one man was found unconscious Monday night after apparently dropping 40 to 50 feet from the overpass at I-5 and Airport Way South. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition with possible head injuries.
Moore says medics found a second young man on the other side of the overpass. The spokesman says that man apparently fell about 5 feet and rolled down a 10-foot embankment. He had no obvious signs of injury and was taken to Harborview in stable condition.
Additional details were not immediately available. Police are investigating.
