Grass fires close Highway 14 near Goldendale
A 10-mile stretch of Highway 14 in the Columbia River Gorge near Goldendale is closed until at least late Friday afternoon while crews battle three grass fires.

A 10-mile stretch of Highway 14 in the Columbia River Gorge near Goldendale is closed until at least late Friday afternoon while crews battle three grass fires.
The Yakima Herald-Republic reports ( http://is.gd/mfWgMJ) the Transportation Department closed the highway Thursday evening in both directions.
