Rescue crews have recovered the body of a 20-year-old man from Lake Tapps east of Tacoma.

Officials with East Pierce Fire and Rescue say divers recovered the body late Saturday.

KIRO-TV says (http://is.gd/4VanBG) witnesses reported seeing a man and woman in the lake who needed help. A bystander was able to help the woman out of the water, but the man went under.
