Mudslide closes Hwy 821 in central Wash.
The Washington Transportation Department says State Highway 821 is closed to through traffic between Yakima and Ellensburg due to a large mudslide.

YAKIMA, Wash. —
The Washington Transportation Department says State Highway 821 is closed to through traffic between Yakima and Ellensburg due to a large mudslide.
The department said the highway was closed Tuesday night and could remain closed for several days.
The scenic highway along the Yakima River is also known as Canyon Road. It's closed between milepost 2 and milepost 25.
