PORTLAND, Ore. —

Authorities say a 36-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a Gresham shooting that left a man dead.

Gresham police Sgt. Claudio Grandjean said late Sunday that David Louis Marshall has been taken into custody by U.S. Marshals in Seattle.

KGW reported earlier that Marshall was a suspect in the death last week of 31-year-old Dennis Frazier III.

Grandjean says police were called just before 1 a.m. Thursday to the report of an unresponsive man in an apartment on Northeast Oregon Street.

Responding officers found Frazier dead at the scene.

Grandjean says Marshall occasionally stayed in the apartment complex where the shooting occurred.
