Man dies in confrontation at Fife tribal casino

A man at the Emerald Queen Casino in Fife died early Thursday after security staff used a Taser on him.

FIFE, Wash. —

A man at the Emerald Queen Casino in Fife died early Thursday after security staff used a Taser on him.

Puyallup Tribal Police told KOMO (http://is.gd/KlBcuh) the man was in a physical confrontation with guards about 2:30 a.m. when they stunned him. He stopped breathing and died.

Tribal police and outside agencies are investigating.
