Farmworker killed in accident near Wapato
A farmworker was killed in an accident Wednesday near Wapato.

WAPATO, Wash. —
A farmworker was killed in an accident Wednesday near Wapato.
The Yakima County sheriff's office says the 44-year-old Yakima-area man was changing a tire on a spray trailer while the farm tractor was still running. The tractor began to move and the worker was run over.
Fire department medics were unable to revive him, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
