Police in Federal Way, Wash., continue to investigate a shootout outside a bar that left one man dead and six other people wounded. A 21-year-old man who suffered minor gunshot wounds has been arrested and booked into jail for investigation of murder.
Deputy Chief Andy Hwang said there was a violent argument outside Johnny's Famous Grill and Bar after closing time early Wednesday and at least two men fired shots.
One 23-year-old fell dead on the sidewalk. The other man and five other wounded people went to three hospitals. Police say all of the wounded are expected to survive. All are in their 20s or 30s.
The dead man was not immediately identified by the King County medical examiner's office.
Cmdr. Stan McCall said Wednesday afternoon that the shooting was not random but the association of those involved and the reason for the dispute are under investigation.
