JBLM commanders return from Afghanistan
Joint Base Lewis-McChord holds a ceremony Tuesday to mark the return of I (First) Corps commanding General Lt. Gen. Curtis Scaparrotti and about 600 members of the headquarters staff from a yearlong deployment in Afghanistan.

JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. —
Joint Base Lewis-McChord holds a ceremony Tuesday to mark the return of I (First) Corps commanding General Lt. Gen. Curtis Scaparrotti and about 600 members of the headquarters staff from a yearlong deployment in Afghanistan.
The unit ran daily combat operations and Scaparrotti was the Afghan war's No. 2 commander.
