Gov. Chris Gregoire is promoting Washington's aerospace industry Wednesday in a series of events.

The first stop is Renton Technical College to see what students learn in the basic drilling and riveting course.

Gregoire also is touring the Boeing 737 factory in Renton and the Boeing Flight Services Seattle Training Campus where pilots learn to fly in flight simulators.

The governor's office says she's celebrating training and education programs that help provide the workforce for 700 aerospace companies in the state.
