Spokane soldier is killed in Afghanistan
A soldier from Spokane has been killed in Afghanistan.
FORT BRAGG, N.C. — A 20-year-old Army soldier from Spokane died Monday from wounds suffered in an attack in Kandahar province in Afghanistan.
Pfc. Jarrod A. Lallier was stationed at Fort Bragg in North Carolina. He was wounded when his unit was attacked Monday by individuals in Afghan police uniforms, and he later died, The Defense Department said.
Lallier was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division.
