Ron Trebon of Edmonds visits his best friend from childhood, Steven R. Ihly, who died at 17 years old while serving in the Korean War. Ihly was an Army corporal, serving in the 378th combat engineers division. "I've been visiting him for over 50 years now," said Trebon, who is a veteran of the Air Force.

Memorial Day trains
Museum salutes military with special $5 round-trip fare to anyone with a valid current military ID; trains depart every 90 minutes beginning 11 a.m., Snoqualmie Depot, 38625 S.E. Museum of Flight
