Pullman fire investigators are calling suspicious a fire that destroyed a building on the Washington State University campus in Pullman early Saturday.

The blaze destroyed the two-story building in the Chief Joseph apartment complex owned by WSU. The community building is used for gatherings and did not house residents. No injuries were reported.

The fire reported about 3:30 a.m. also partially damaged two outbuildings used to store equipment.

It's the second fire on campus in less than a week. A blaze on Tuesday destroyed another community building at the Nez Perce apartment complex owned by WSU. Investigators are also calling that fire suspicious.

A Pullman Fire Department statement posted on WSU's website says fire investigators on Saturday are working to determine the fire's cause and origin.
