House Speaker Boehner to be in Vancouver May 25
House Speaker John Boehner will be in Vancouver on May 25 to campaign for U.S. Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler.

House Speaker John Boehner will be in Vancouver on May 25 to campaign for U.S. Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler.
The Columbian ( http://is.gd/2URujI) reports that a $1,000 donation to Herrera Beutler's campaign, buts a ticket for a photo reception with Boehner. A lunch fundraiser follows.
The Republican representative is completing her first two-year term in Congress.
Boehner appeared at another Herrera Beutler's fundraisers in September. At that event, participants could pay $2,500 to have a "roundtable discussion" with Boehner.
Herrera Beutler's only announced opponent so far is Democrat Jon T. Haugen, a commercial pilot from Vancouver.
The deadline for candidate filing is May 18.
