RENTON, Wash. —

The Seattle Seahawks' preseason will begin with some familiar faces returning to the Pacific Northwest.

Seattle announced its 2012 preseason schedule on Wednesday and the Seahawks will open at home against the Tennessee Titans. The Titians feature former Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck and former University of Washington star QB Jake Locker, both of whom would be making their first appearances in Seattle since joining the Titans.

The game will take place between Aug. 9 and Aug. 13. Dates and times for all preseason games have not been set.

Seattle will travel to Denver in Week 2 and then to Kansas City in Week 3 before closing out its AFC-centric preseason at home against Oakland. It's the seventh straight year the Seahawks and Raiders have closed out the exhibition season.
