Seattle police say a 51-year-old Kent woman whose body was pulled from the water off West Seattle is a homicide victim.

Police appealed to the public Thursday for help in solving the case of Greggette Guy, whose body was recovered early Monday.

Detectives believe the woman parked her car in the area Sunday night and planned to take a walk along the beach. She was found dead just offshore. Police did not discuss a cause of death.
